Determination

Sometimes all I need to do is look at my kids to see the determination they have in doing something, anything. Tying a shoe, making a bed for the first time, riding a bike with no training wheels, making new friends, or in this case, climbing the ladder to the biggest tree house! He tried so hard and made it up 3 steps - not too bad for a 17 month old! I am sure he would have gone up much further had the height not given him such a fright!

Poor little one had a horrible toothache that day! She was not in a picture mood - but her little puppy was so cute and protective over her! Would not let her out of his sight! We managed to get some smiling of her, but I thought this picture was really sweet with her protecter in sight...


He was so sweet to show me all he had discovered by his adorable 2 year old self. Such an awesome age to explore!

In the Beginning

Here I am at a point in my life where I feel like my kids are growing up and are having their hobbies and interests and now it is time to focus on expanding mine! I am so excited about this new venture I am taking. I worked for an amazing photographer in New Mexico for a little over 3 years. I was her assistant and salesperson. I loved that job. I also loved seeing what she created. I then began second shooting at weddings for her, and fell in love with photography! It is amazing that you can capture a moment in time to not only remember but to look back and see! What a wonderful gift to give someone! I am now living in Maryville, Illinois with my 4 children and my wonderful husband and looking to expand my clientele! All Hearts Photography specializes in moment in time portraits that are whimsical and fresh!
